Basque Urban Graffiti Artist

Graffiti LABORE

Soon LABORE will celebrate its second anniversary and as a result of this celebration, they invited us to decorate the kitchen.

From now on, the “Laborezain” or partners of LABORE will have this mural in the background in all the activities they celebrate in the kitchen:Through the mural we wanted to transmit the local, paying homage to our ancestors.

The woman in the foreground looks into the eyes and the people in the kitchen, indicating with her eyes that LABORE is a sincere project and inviting them to participate. Everything happens under the Aiako Harria, one of the oldest mountain ranges in Gipuzkoa and a symbol of unity for any of the towns that make up Oarsoaldea. Also in the mural, there is a tribute to women as the main element of union of families.

In the background, you can see a group of happy people cooking by the fire … is a nod to another element of union in the Basque culture and houses, since for LABORE the kitchen is a fundamental element to build a community based on the local and just economy.
